At Procaps, we are seeking an Analyst I Validation PharmaYECT to join our team in Bogota, D.C., Colombia.

About the Role

The Analyst I Validation PharmaYECT will be responsible for performing physicochemical analyses of raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure quality, safety, and efficacy, complying with regulatory requirements.

This includes:

• Performing routine analyses to verify product quality and stability;
• Developing and updating procedures, instructions, forms, logs, and managing their dissemination and administration;
• Conducting investigations to identify root causes and prevent recurrence;
• Documenting laboratory events to meet procedural requirements;
• Verifying and calibrating basic laboratory equipment;

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual who has experience working in a quality control laboratory within the chemical, pharmaceutical, or food industry.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemistry and Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry;
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an analyst or laboratory chemist;
• Knowledge of basic laboratory equipment and specialized analysis tools like HPLC, UV, IR;
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, scientific articles, and technical datasheets;
• Familiarity with Office, LIMS, and SAP software;
