PUR is recruiting
a LATAM Coffee Program Manager.

As a key member, your responsibilities will include:

Business Development (60%):


  • Strategy :_
  • Support implementation of PUR's commercial strategy (short term, medium term and long term);
  • Proactively contacting potential clients with operations in LATAM to establish rapport and arrange meeting.
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities in the coffee industry in LATAM.
  • Implement the growth strategy for Latam and generate new sales leads.
  • Developing project concepts and proposals for clients in close collaboration with field teams.
  • Sector Knowledge: Conducting desk research and reviewing Industry standards, sectoral initiatives, national and international policies, supply chains trends, environmental tools and mechanisms.
  • Network & Representation :_
  • Improve PUR's network to create business opportunities in Latam related to the coffee sector.
  • Represent PUR publicly at conferences/events, and in facetoface meetings with existing and potential clients when needed.

Program Management (40%)

  • Being responsible for the smooth running of programs with the main focus in LATAM and also ensure transversal alignment with other regions (Coordinating presales and postsales follow up).
  • Expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives interactions with their HQ in Europe. Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction as well as upsell and crosssell potential with existing customers.
  • Being responsible for impact monitoring and contractual agreements, monitoring budgets and facilitating access to Industry frameworks;
  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers focal points and internal teams in LATAM and Europe (projects, data/IT, financial, legal, etc).
  • Close collaboration with the team staff based in Europe and North America to ensure the correct deliverables & prepare regular reports to customers in a timely manner.
You have demonstrated excellent commercial and sustainable program management skills in consulting firms or in the Food & Beverage sector especially the coffee sector,

You are passionate about ecosystems protection and social issues, and you want to have a strong impact,
this position is for you

  • Minimum 5 to 10 years work experience in business development, strategic management & sales, preferably in
    Food & Beverage especially coffee; any other commodity would be a strong asset.
-
You have good knowledge on sustainability and climate change issues (eg, carbon removals, SBTi, etc)

  • Master Degree or equivalent in relevant fields including but not limited to sustainability, agriculture, regenerative practices, agroforestry seen as a plus.
  • Any experience related to voluntary carbon market, restoration projects, climate, agroforestry, social and environmental policy and corporate social responsibility will be seen as an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
  • Ability to flourish with mínimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Professional fluency in
    English and Spanish (multicultural team).
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Legally allowed to work in Colombia.
