About the role

As a Revenue Recognition Young Professional you will review all contract types such as Software and Maintenance Contracts, Cloud, Services, Education, Letter of Intents, Co-Innovation Agreements, and frame contracts.

You will also review and shape deals that include multiple contracts and significant changes to T&Cs in the respective contracts and conduct special accounting treatment assessments in close collaboration with regional and global colleagues.

This Young Professional will participate in the general administration of the finance function.

This may include activities such as provide guidance on licensing and pricing questions, assist with deal structuring, and review Software, maintenance and cloud deals.

This role may complete transactions within a specialized area and may interact with the F&A Community, HHRR, GPO and GCO Sales to achieve desired results.

Temporary up to 2 years

Finance Young Professional is s a key role in Deal Support activities within Commercial Finance (e.g., manage sales interactions structure, propose and review commercial offers), and includes all core activities that are performed to meet requirements that result from SAP internal global policies.

Very important in this role is interaction and communication with other team members and managers in an international environment, and as such require advanced communication and language skill.

Performing controls and procedures to review on premise and cloud license agreements to ensure they are accounted for properly; understanding changes in business and regulatory environments to ensure compliance
Provide guidance on licensing and pricing questions
Assist with deal structuring
Review Software, maintenance and cloud deals
Handle Deal Support escalations
Business administration
Contributes to projects
Interacting with KPMG during quarterly reviews and the annual audit
Confident problem solver, able to work to multiple deadlines under pressure and has a willingness to develop a thorough knowledge of IFRS / U.S. GAAP on revenue recognition as well as SAP's own policies and practices.
Performing controls and procedures related to the monthly close of software revenue accounts and ensure the market unit controllers are aware of all posted adjustments

What you bring

Education:

Must be a recent Graduate of a bachelor's degree.
Open to various educational backgrounds
Finished Internship

Requirements and Experience:

Maximum of 2 years of experience in business administration, Finance, controlling and/or equivalent
Interpersonal Skills
Excellent "Customer Focus" approach
Advanced MS Office skills: Excel, Word, Outlook
Independent communication and negotiation with client
Communication skills (verbally and written)
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work in an international environment
Ability to coordinate a team
Strong attention to detail
