• Plastics: With new technology trends, our plastic additives can be experienced in many everyday items including vinyl, blowmolding bottles, film, rigid containers, PVC plastics, siding, decks and rails, foam pipes and profile formulations, window frames and highefficiency lubricants.

This position will also serve as Dow Industrial Solutions LA TS&D focal point to technical QNs investigations and new product creation - PMR processes.

In this role, you will require conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures as well as having general business knowledge developed through education or prior experience related to your discipline and functional area.

You will need to have the ability to exchange straightforward information with others and ask questions to check for understanding.

Responsibilities:

• Develops valuecreating solutions for the customer in response to presented problems with defined scope and impact
• Effectively applies the scientific method to solve technical problems.
• Acquires understanding of Dow's technologies
• Provide primary technical support to main LA DIS distributors, while consolidating and overse0inge distributor's innovation pipeline & training
• Lead and execute every LA DIS new product creation PMR process (champion PMR process in the region), while stablishing global network with PMR related functions
• Internal TS&D focal point on technical DIS LA QN investigations, stablishing global network with QN resolution related functions and coordinating QN metrics and response to customers
• Contributes to projects to qualify existing products at existing customers
• Communicates and appropriately documents work in the form of internal reports/presentations and drafts and submits patent disclosures as appropriate
• Serves as an information resource for the project team and stakeholders
• Collaborates effectively across the department; presents research project updates and demonstrates capability to influence audience with effective presentation skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or sciencerelated discipline
• English advanced
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in customer support initiatives

Preferred qualification- Portuguese advanced
