Job Description

At Syngenta, our goal is to build the most collaborative and trustworthy team in agriculture, providing top-quality seeds and innovative crop protection solutions that improve farmers' success. To support this mission, Syngenta's Finance Business Partnering team is seeking a Financial Risk Management Manager Andinos in Bogotá, Colombia.

Accountabilities

Credit and Collections

Responsible for ensuring the company's financial health by managing credit risk, defining credit policies, and optimizing accounts receivable recovery.
Supervises the team, analyzes customer solvency, and ensures positive cash flow through effective collection strategies.
Acts as Credit Business Partner for commercial teams.
Conducts field visits to clients to understand their specific needs and challenges.
Analyzes financial statements, metrics, industry trends, and market conditions.

Treasury

Responsible for managing liquidity, cash flow, banking relationships, and financial risks for the Andean CU.
Optimizes financial resources, ensures compliance with obligations, and defines investment and debt strategies to guarantee financial stability for the Andean CU.
Manages and implements financial solutions for clients as well as for the CUs.

Qualifications

Required

Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in finance with a strong emphasis on Credit management.
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Proven negotiation skills.
Effective stakeholder management across multiple levels.
Knowledge of SAP.
