Job Description About this Job**Nielsen Consumer is looking for a Senior Contract Administrator to join the Contract Management Team in support of our NielsenIQ clients. This is a fast paced, high volume, high performing team and the applicant will work directly with our North America Contracts Team, Deal Desk, Sales, Finance, and Legal functions to manage contract flow, execution, archiving, and distribution of all licensing agreements for our customers. The position is high visibility as it is critical to revenue recognition. Associate will manage initial contract transition in the Conga Contract Lifecycle Management System (CLM).


Responsibilities and Duties:

Contract Generation/Administration

  • Assist with basic drafting, reviewing, and releasing contracts that are in compliance with company approved guidelines
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy by:
  • Ensuring that contract language incorporates all submitted and authorized specifications
  • Document and archive all related backup materials related to each contract draft
  • Update all output documentation on the "Master Tracker" log on a daily basis
Cross-Functional Involvement

  • Review, compare, obtain signatures, and file Third Party Agreements. Assist in facilitating Third Party process.
  • Oversees the contract termination process by verifying the validity of requests, providing necessary forms to Sales for execution, and distributing required documentation to appropriate departments.
  • Appropriately engage Legal contacts for review of all nonstandard language
  • Elevate issues on an as needed basis to manager for resolution
  • Work with appropriate crossfunctional representation and manager to establish "contract appropriate" language to describe new or changed service descriptions
  • Self Service contract templates for regions
  • Miscellaneous projects as needed.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize assigned workload.
  • Exercise judgment in handling exceptions to standard procedures.
  • Elevate issues on an as needed basis to manager for resolution

  • Represent the Contract Management department with a high level of professionalism at all times
Assist Contract Administrator

  • Obtain contract signature(s) and countersignature as required.
  • Log, scan, verify, and deliver agreements for signature/countersignature along with support documentation, where applicable.
  • Create PDF's of executed agreements, record entries to appropriate databases, and file in the contract repositories.
  • Document comparisons as requested.
  • Provide copies of contracts upon request to Sales and Legal.
  • Draft "Service Purge Letters" as requested.
  • Locate and provide all legal documents required for purposes of auditor requests.

Qualifications

  • 12 years of prior business or Legal experience in a corporate setting
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Sharepoint, Form)
  • Google experience (Docs, Sheets) is a plus
  • Demonstrate basic math skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrate superior communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism in a highpressure environment
  • Exhibit a strong interpersonal/teamwork disposition with group members and overall customer base
  • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, solving problems with a minimum of intervention from others
  • Excellent influencing skills to effectively (yet tactfully) uphold established practices and procedures
  • Strong problem solving and communication (both oral and written) skills
  • Ability to succeed in a dynamic environment with new challenges and changing work priorities
  • Contract lifecycle management system (CLM) and/or Conga experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree (or commensurate experience) in related field, preferred but not required.
