Descripción

• Processes all payment types by batching, balancing and posting to ensure all funds are accounted for and systems balanced to funds received
• Maintains and organizes all pertinent back up information to substantiate payment postings as necessary.
• Participate in process improvement projects and support other management directives as identified.
• Provides feedback to management concerning potential problems and identifies opportunities for improvement
• Monitor the A/R inbox to use remittance advice to book all incoming funds
• Processing of paper checks received inhouse
• Address and resolve payment issues and/or variances.
• Engage in collection management processes as necessary.
• Interface with key departments, including customer care, collections, and IT to resolve customer specific inquiries and transaction errors
• Manage Recovery of Bad debt adjustments on customers' accounts.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

• High School degree or equivalent, required.
• College degree in General Business, Finance, or Accounting, preferred.
• Energy Industry experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Strong PC skills including Excel (required) and Word
• Experience with banking interfaces and reports.
• Selfmotivated, results oriented, enthusiastic individual who will work on a variety of programs interacting with internal teams and external clients and customers.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
