THE TEAM YOU'LL BE PART OF:

Multivendor Care Business Unit provides 3rd Party support to the largest Global Service Providers for their Optical, Fixed, Switching, IP, Synchronization and Application networks.
Multivendor Business Unit brings together Nokia resources with third-party partner resources. In doing so, it mimics a primary contractor model to provide a complete suite of support services, filling any gaps in capability, technology or geography


Global Commercial Team works closely with cross-functional teams to support sales opportunities and offers. Drives early engagement with customer teams in offer development. Coordinate E2E offer preparation to ensure offer readiness on time, in line with the sales process, and at the right quality level. Responsible for closing new deals and generating sales revenue within completely new prospects or existing accounts targeting new revenue streams


Job description:


The Business Development Manager (non-SIP) identifies new businesses within a defined geographic territory / industry / broad business / product area focusing on future technologies and creates sales channels to acquire them.

Responsible for closing new deals and generating sales revenue within completely new prospects / markets and / or existing accounts targeting new revenue streams.

Sets sales strategies to develop new business opportunities and to attain sales performance targets for the defined set of pre-identified accounts, geographic territories, or industry.


Provides specialised expertise to support the sales team ahead of the actual sales to drive sales of an optimum solution mix to customers.

Works with customers and development teams to create the best fit offering.

Contributes to / defines the technical strategy towards the designated customer(s), optimally adapts towards their vision, requirements, and needs in close collaboration with the respective customer teams and market solution team / head.

Makes technical presentations to customers focusing on Nokia's value proposition to customer during prospect and negotiation phases.


_Job Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates and develops business opportunities in collaboration with Sales team / Account Manager.
  • Supports sales opportunities through broad Thirdparty services expertise and internal / external business understanding.
  • Contributes to the creation of customer network evolution plans, and competitively positions our thirdparty services to address customer needs.
  • Identifies short and longerterm solutions to address customer needs.
  • Provides expertise on thirdparty services in the early phase of opportunity development.
  • Addresses complex services risks with mitigation plans and solutions which generate solid business impact.
  • Contributes to the LoA process from technical perspective
  • Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes and services.
  • Has indepth organisational and relevant market knowledge and uses understanding on how relevant areas can be integrated to achieve objectives.
  • Actively supports the bid team during offer development phases (EG solution description, Scope of Work (SoW), Bill of Quantity (BoQ), Statement of Compliance (SoC)), and often lead work teams and taskforce activities.

  • Services / Business Development experience.
  • Sales mindset, seeking continuously new opportunities, together with the Account Manager.
  • Knowledge on cloud services, Kubernetes/Dockers, Openstack, VMware, RHEL, Linux, MD-CLI,Yang, gnmi/grpc will be valued.
  • Experience on services offer preparation with special focus on Thirdparty services
  • Bill of Quantity (BoQ),
  • Business Case
  • Solution description, Scope of Work (SoW)
  • Statement of Compliance (SoC)
  • LoA process as:
  • Solution Manager
  • Pricing Manager
  • Bid Manager (For Mutivendor only offers)
  • We are looking for a team player with good relationship with the RBC's and Customer Experience and mindset to develop new business
  • Excellent Communication Skills in English (verbal and written).
  • Willingness to travel if required
  • Good level of knowledge of tools. Excel, Share-Point, Teams
