We are currently looking for a
IT Field Technician for Paso Pé and Villarrica to join our team


What you can expect in this role:

Reporting to the Team Lead - System Administrator, the IT Field Technician will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and functionality of our organization's IT mining sites infrastructure.

This position involves resolving technical issues, assisting on-site users, managing the lifecycle of on-site IT assets, and maintaining an optimal site environment.

The position may require on-call support on a weekly rotation basis.


More specifically, here are some of the key responsibilities:

• Installing / removing network devices, patching, labelling and organizing network cables.
• Updating inventory databases & asset management systems.
• Monitoring systems to ensure servers and devices remain at optimal conditions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues.
• Escalating complex issues to the team and tracking all issues to resolution.
• Installation and maintenance of onsite IT infrastructure such as surveillance cameras, WIFI network or access control systems.
• Ensuring that all systems have the latest security patches and software updates.
• Configuration of various equipment and operating systems.

Here's the profile we're looking for:

• Training in engineering or software development careers.
• Knowledge of Networking and IP Networks (ethernet and wireless).
• Experience in Hardware/Software support of Windows computers.
• Experience in structured cabling and CCTV/WIFI installations.
• Team spirit, a keen sense of ownership and an agile mindset.
