    Application Engineer located in

    Barrancabermeja, Colombia

    . The Application Engineer is responsible Generate value and profitability for the Company by identifying and developing business opportunities (sales of products and services from Apergy's portfolio) and offering innovative solutions to customers aimed at optimizing their production; through market analysis and research, commercial management, comprehensive customer service, technical support, product evaluation, inventory planning and price analysis in order to obtain business continuity.

    What You Will Do:
    Develop and maintain strategies to increase business results.
    Identify trends, customer needs and business

    opportunities.
    Visit clients to generate opportunities for new business development, follow up on these visits and keep track of

    progress-results.
    Prepare technical and economic bids/proposals for clients.
    Provide technical support during equipment installations in the field when

    required.

    Elaborate designs of artificial lift systems and prepare commercial offers with the objective of extracting in the most efficient way the production potential of the wells and/or optimize their current conditions.

    Follow up the performance of the equipment installed in the client's locations and elaborate KPI's to measure their

    performance.

    Prepare technical reports that include engineering recommendations to justify modifications and adjustments in the well designs or in the equipment arrangements offered to the clients oriented to continuous improvement.

    Also, prepare reports and investigations involving failure analysis when required.
    Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with at least - 4 years of experience.

    Basic knowledge of project management, ALS systems application design ( PCP, BM, ESP).Takes initiative to stay current with technology in degreed discipline.
