We are currently expanding and looking to add a talented, skilled, and experienced

DevOps Cloud Engineer

to join our team in Colombia.

It is a completely remote work opportunity and the successful candidate will lead a team of Cloud and DevOps to oversee projects of varying size and complexity.

This will be a remote position, working from homeResponsibilities:
Design and implement scalable, highly available, and secure cloud and on-premise infrastructure solutions.

Work with development teams to architect applications in a way that allows for a seamless deployment pipeline from development to production.

Develop and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable quick and reliable deployment of software across all environments.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform to manage infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes in a repeatable and predictable manner.

Manage and optimize cloud services and resources, including compute, storage, and networking components, to ensure cost-effectiveness and performance optimization.
Work closely with IT teams to integrate cloud and on-premise environments, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow.
Use tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, and Datadog to monitor system health and performance.
Enforce security best practices for both cloud and on-premise environments, including network configurations, access controls, and data encryption.
Collaborate with development, operations, and IT teams to ensure DevOps practices align with organizational goals.

RequirementsMore than 8 years of experience as a DevOps EngineerCertifications in Azure (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) and Kubernetes (e.g., CKAD, CKA, CKS).Hands-on experience with security tools and vulnerability scanning in DevOps pipelines.

Familiarity with Azure security services and features.
Experience with

Azure DevOps, Azure services , and on-premises infrastructure managementProficiency in Kubernetes orchestration and containerizationProven experience in DevSecOps or a similar roleWork closely with development and operations teams to embed security practices into CI/CD pipelines.

Set up and monitor security alerts and events to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
Develop and maintain automated security testing and deployment scripts.
Utilize tools like Terraform to automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure.

Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet,python,bash powershell).Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Terraform, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
