Requirements:

    Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification in Math and STEM/STEAM.
  • A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Middle School math and STEM/STEAM.
  • Familiarity with projectbased learning and inquirybased instruction.
  • Experience with integrating technology into instruction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Understanding by Design
  • Knowledge of Marzano's New Taxonomy

Job Description:


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and standards.
  • Integrate technology into instruction, including the use of educational apps and online resources to enhance student learning.
  • Create handson, projectbased activities that incorporate science, technology, engineering, and art concepts.
  • Encourage students to collaborate and problemsolve in teams to complete STEAM challenges.
  • Manage and maintain the classroom and all equipment related to STEAM instruction.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities related to STEAM and math, such as competitions.
  • Create and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that promote student interest and engagement.
  • Provide individual and group instruction to students and provide feedback on their progress.
  • Use a variety of assessment methods to evaluate student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and provide support for students who need additional help.
