Under the supervision of the Driver Dispatcher and Operations Supervisor, is responsable to ensure the provision of a reliable transport service, with the best possible quality and serve as a communication link between our customers, suppliers, government authorities and our Operations /Customer Service staff.

The holder of this position must assure the cooperation between his/her work area with all other areas of the company such that the flow of information is always friction free, unfettered, and ensuring a positive comprehensive coordination.

  • The holder of this position must perform administrative proceedings assigned by the Operations Supervisor, and provide the respective evidence on a timely manner. _(El titular de este cargo debe realizar los procedimientos administrativos asignados por el Supervisor de Operaciones y proporcionar los respectivos soportes de manera oportuna)._
Overall Tasks

  • Load and/or unload company vehicles with the packages scheduled for pickups and / or deliveries. _(Cargar y/o descargar los vehículos de la empresa con los paquetes programados para recolecciones y/o entregas)_
  • Verify the integrity and condition of the goods, packages and/or envelopes transported during collections and deliveries. _(Verificar la integridad y condiciónde la mercancía, paquetes y/o sobres transportados durante recoleccionesy entregas)_
  • Follow the route plan assigned by the supervisor and provide suggestions for improvement about the best possible route available to their destination, in order to perform a deliver and/or puick up in a timely manner. _(Seguir el plan de ruta asignado porel supervisor y brindar sugerencias de mejora acerca dela mejor ruta disponible para su destino, con el fin de realizar una entrega /recolección oportuna)_
  • Read and interpret maps and addresses in order to plan the most efficient route. (L_eer e interpretar mapas y direcciones para planificar la ruta más eficiente)_
  • Ensure that the House Way Bill (HWB) is fully completed by the shipper and / or consignee. _(Debe asegurar que la guía (HWB por sus siglas en inglés) este completamente diligenciada por el remitente y/o consignatario)._
  • To use the mobile phone to report immediately the pickup or delivery time, as well as to report any issues that may arise during these process and to ensure the continued availability, keeping safety regulations. (U_sar el teléfono celular parainformar de inmediato el horario de realización de un retiro o una entrega; así como también para informar cualquier inconveniente que pudiera surgir durante los mismos y poder garantizar la disponibilidad permanente, conservando las normas de seguridad)._
  • Provide a communication link between customers and the office staff. The comments and suggestions of the customers must be immediately communicated to the Operations Supervisor. _(Proporcionar un enlace de comunicación entre los clientes y el personal de la oficina. Las observaciones y sugerencias de los clientes deben ser inmediatamente comunicadas al Supervisor de Operaciones)._
  • Maintain the assigned vehicle clean, inside and outside. (_Mantener el vehículo asignado limpio, por dentro y por fuera)._
  • Maintain an excellent cooperation with other team members. (_Mantener una excelente cooperación con los otros miembros del equipo)._
  • Be gentle to all customers and always use an appropriate language. _(Ser cortés con todos los clientes y usar siempre un lenguaje apropiado)._
  • Must be reliable and avoid unexcused absences. _(Debe ser confiable y evitar ausencias injustificadas)._
  • Follow the maintenance program of the assigned vehicle. (_Seguir el programa de mantenimiento del vehículo asignado)._
