Job Description:

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for utilizing the advanced functionality of Oracle iProcurement, Sourcing and iSupplier to obtain the benefits of increased processing efficiency and cost reduction including:

Essential functions

  • Ensure Strategic Sourcing BPA's are properly loaded into Oracle for use in internet procurement.
  • Expand use of the Oracle Sourcing module to facilitate electronic collaboration with key suppliers via the Supplier Portal.
  • Expand use of iSupplier to facilitate electronic invoicing via the Supplier Portal.
  • Assist Operations users in development of Oracle "favorites lists."
  • Collaborate with international procurement personnel to develop, implement and execute local Strategic Sourcing Agreements, and load associated BPA's into Oracle.
  • Establishes and maintains Strategic Sourcing Agreements with key suppliers.
  • Manage the development or requirements, coordination with IT on development and testing of new system modules.
  • Follow all Company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Ensure that personal behaviors and work practices are in line with Company safety standards.
  • Responsible for safety of self and others in the vicinity to include, but not limited to, employees, vendors and guests.
  • Provide visible leadership engagement, be aware of housekeeping and take additional safety precautions to ensure no one is put at risk.
  • Do not take short cuts or unnecessary risks and actively work with others to ensure they take due care and do not put themselves or others at risk.
  • Ensure all incidents are reported and appropriately investigated in accordance with Company procedure.
  • As needed, seek advice from HSE representative.

Additional functions

  • Ownership to execute the endtoend supply chain process from material request to delivery.
  • Secondary manager for all supply chain at local offices and warehouse personnel.
  • Focal point between corporate and local supply chain to ensure alignment to achieve supply chain objectives to optimize costs, improve efficiency, drive process compliance, and enhance quality of service.

Qualifications:


Necessary qualifications, skills and abilities

  • CPSM or CPIM certification preferred.
  • College degree required
  • Must have 5 years experience in Supply Chain Management, and strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of ERP procurement software (i.e. Oracle).
  • Must be a detail oriented, selfstarter and able to work with little supervision while maintaining goals/tasks.
  • Must have good PC skills to include all MS Office products.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with staff, management, customers and vendors.
  • Must possess sound reasoning skills and have the ability to follow directions.

Additional qualifications, skills and abilities

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on regional operations.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management and logistics processes.
  • Bilingual in both English and Spanish.
  • Proven experience in change management.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software and experience with Oracle or other enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
