Job Role:

The Steward ensures the proper use and maintenance of equipment, maintains inventory, and ensures cleanliness of kitchens and their equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design job roles according to staff capabilities and skills.
• Verify the order and cleanliness of chemical storage areas.
• Manage the service shift, verifying attendance and punctuality of work teams.
• Review the cleanliness of all areas, including refrigerators and chambers.
• Ensure 100% compliance with hygiene and cleaning programs in production kitchens and consumption centers.
• Maintain optimal conditions of cleanliness, order, and safety in kitchens, storage, corridors, and areas.
• Keep kitchen major equipment in optimal condition.
• Monitor expenses by consumption center without exceeding budgeted amounts.
• Ensure availability of operational equipment through monthly inventory taking and replenishing shortages.

Requirements:

• Professional degree in food engineering, industrial engineering, or similar field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience leading medium-sized teams (10-20) in kitchen cleaning with high staff turnover.
