Position Summary


Responsibilities:


Process the monthly accounting close process in USGAAP, including ensuring accurate and timely according to the standards, and the timeliness and integrity of financial reports, manage the daily operations of accounting activities, monthly adjustments records for Inventory, prepaids, revenue, expenses, accruals, conducting account reconciliations for BS accounts, fixed asset activity, and payroll review and register monthly.

Process the balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline.

Process the local statutory requirements with the external accounting services and integrate them with operating needs.


Ensure journal entry posting, retain and keep track of all accounting supports, and ensure the integrity and accuracy of the accounting information.

You will also provide and interpret data from accounting records as needed.

Continuously identify areas of efficiency and proactively provide recommendations for process improvement and modifications to accounting systems and procedures.


Work closely with the finance team, building up our financial reporting processes, continuously evaluating system flows and strengthening financing reporting efficiencies.

Maintain fluid and solid communication, standardize policies, and document processes and definitions.

Experience with international teams and exposure to US accounting.

Attention to detail, high performance under pressure and ability to execute.


High initiative, and self-starting capabilities, with demonstrated ability to identify and seize opportunities for impact in messy, uncertain contexts without direction or oversight.

Desire to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment; ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.


Lead with our accounting Team and external resources on the year-end financial audit by providing the required documents to the auditor (EY).

Responsible for ensuring the audit recommendations are implemented accordingly.

Possess knowledge of other accounting functions & aid/back-up when required.

Education, Experience and Skills

Bachelor's Degree (Accounting)

At least 5 years relevant experience post qualification.

Solid knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS would be desirable.

Must possess strong knowledge accounting.

Proficient in Excel and Office Package. Understanding SAP is a plus.

Advanced English.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Possess strong initiative, resourceful, result-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.


Attention to details, strong analytical skills and ability to problem solve, work well under pressure and ability to prioritize workload.

Ensure compliance with group reporting policies & principles.

Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.

Honest and professional work ethic.

A team player with proactive attitude.
