    About the Role

    The Graphic Design Intern is responsible for providing support for the global marketing & communications team for a variety of channels, including print, digital, web, video and other as assigned. The Graphic Design intern will report to the Senior Graphic Designer and will assist with the development and design of core Dialecticas graphics, logos, event materials, social media and a variety of other creative tasks.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research to support the brand identity evolution of the company.
    • Collaborate and support the marketing team in developing creative design solutions and assets.
    • Create image and graphic artworks for various marketing materials and digital platforms.
    • Assist in layout and typography design for print and digital assets.
    • Contribute to visual communication strategies across multiple channels.
    • Design presentations for internal and external purposes.

    Requirements

    • A good portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of design projects.
    • Strong academic performance.
    • Solid understanding of branding principles, typography, layout, color theory, and composition.
    • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
    • Familiarity with motion design and editing would be considered as an asset.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint & Excel.
    • Knowledge of digital design principles.
    • Understanding of print design processes and requirements.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Fluency in English.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

    During the interview process you may be asked to complete a short design task based on the brand guidelines of Dialectica.
