Medical Advisor

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate and participate actively in development and alignment of strategic business plans in concert with appropriate crossfunctional partners, and responsible for the successful implementation of Medical Affairs Strategies at the field level.
  • Develop and manage a Medical Plan relative to Key Opinion Leaders management and therapeutic area Centers of Excellence.
  • Review and develop AWB material for the Consumer Health business.
  • Contribute with the develop and maintaining of Digital strategies with the proper medical guidance, following both internal and external regulations.
  • Ensure Local Medical Information service and responsible for the answer to medical questions concerning products (internal and external stakeholders).
  • Train sales force representatives and clients (distributors, wholesalers) regarding medical aspects of products.
  • Medical advice for Market Research initiatives aligned with regulations and Pharmacovigilance.
  • Scientific advice to Management Trials for the successful development of Consumer Health clinical studies sponsored by Bayer.
  • Responsible for post approval medical related Health Authority Queries.
  • Prepare and implement risk minimization activities and provide Medical Affairs input, in coordination with Sr. Medical Advisor and Pharmacovigilance team.
  • Support Leads scientific advisory boards and contributes to a flow of relevant publications.
  • Supports Corporate Communication, Legal and Advocacy medical needs related to Consumer Health business.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Advanced scientific degree, preferably physician (mandatory).
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare organization, especially in Clinical Development and/or Medical Affairs.
  • Scientific expertise within a specialized therapeutic area.
  • At least 1year experience in Pharmaceutical Industry, preferable but not necessarily OTC company.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal communication skills).
  • Engages Key Opinion Leaders at peertopeer level.
  • Experience of working across and building effective working relationships between functions.
  • Scientific clinical development knowledge & statistical skills.
  • Organizational and process management skills.
  • Experience, skills, and understanding of business systems.
  • Demonstrated project management capability.
  • Highly effective communicator with strong influencing ability and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively and successfully in a complex global and multicultural environment mainly in digital.
