About the project:

Our client offers software and consulting services in taxation in the United States.

For our project, you will help drive the software architecture design, modernization, and transformation to modern microservice-based platforms and distributed systems in the cloud.

Skills & Experience:

Education and/or experience — Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience;
2+ years of experience in functional and nonfunctional testing;
Knowledge of Postman and other tools for automation in crossbrowser web testing;
Good communication skills;
Strong work ethics;
Detailoriented;
Dependable;
Good problemsolving skills;
Ability to work in a team and independently;
Ability to work with mathematical concepts;
Ability to effectively multitask and adapt quickly;
Intermediate (B2) English or above; Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.

NICE TO HAVE:

Responsibilities:

Provide suggestions for software enhancements and improvements;
Report issues and enhancements that are understandable to improve our forms and products in both written and verbal forms;
Test functionality and experience from a user's perspective;
Execute both functional and nonfunctional testing as needed;
Acceptance testing of features, changes, and bug fixes to ensure delivered functionality meets expectations, requirements, and design intent;
Regression testing to ensure that the development of new features does not break existing functionality of the software or introduce new bugs;
Document and maintain scenarios that encapsulate different test cases for reuse to ensure consistency in testing practices;
Assist in assessing and escalating issues and concerns with peers and senior team members;
Design test cases, scenarios, or charters to verify functionality;
Understand and analyze user stories, requirements, or product specifications;
Understand highlevel concepts and use cases for manual and automated testing;
Meet deadlines and commitments;
Other duties as needed or required.
