Intuitive Solutions is a social enterprise on a mission to improve the human condition and is focused on capacity building for social enterprises and nonprofits.

Intuitive provides nonprofits with the capacity to help them get closer to achieving their mission.

To achieve this mission, we work with mission partners through either a comprehensive capacity building program, or one-off select services.

In either case, and particularly for the capacity building partners, a Project Manager is needed to oversee a portfolio of partners, shepherding these partners through the program to strengthen the four Ms of non-profit capacity: mission, management, money and measurement.


The Project Manager will be responsible for three key functions:

  • Internal Project Management. Managing the execution of the project for each client (mission partner) through internal management of the IS team, and, where necessary, managing the projects of partner teams (external project management)
  • External Partner Communication. Arranging and attending all partner meetings (normally led by Solutionist), sending agenda and objectives of meeting in advance, taking detailed notes, and insuring action items are generated and communicated both to the partner and internally
  • Strategy Execution. Executing on specific aspects of the playbook, working closely with service teams to agree upon deliverables and key deadlines, and assigning service directors tasks related to moving the playbook forward.

Key Responsibilities/Outcomes (include but are not limited to):

INTERNAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Serve as project lead, creating an effective and positive client experience for each partner
  • Working with Solutionist, build out strategies for team to execute and insure line of sight on the execution of the plans by Service Directors before making commitments to partner
  • Work closely with Service Directors to communicate project tasks and proposed deadlines, negotiating these between the Service Directors and the partner to insure reasonable deadlines with IS's capacity
  • Proactively set project management calendar for each aspect of each partner, always working ahead of everyone else to insure we are always proactive rather than reactive, managing expectations to insure IS has the capacity to meet deadlines and partner understands the scope of our work what we will do and what we don't do
  • Assign tasks on project management software (Bitrix) to Service Directors and follow up to ensure these tasks are being completed on time, managing expectations for both the partner and internal team members.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed
  • Set weekly goals for each partner internally, and communicate these goals and troubleshoot any issues that come up in meeting deadlines
  • Problem solve internally and externally when issues arise

EXTERNAL PARTNER COMMUNICATION

  • With Solutionist, determine and define project scope and objectives
  • Keep all project documentation up to date including live activity update reports, campaign completion reports and other reports as needed.
  • Arrange all partner calls and set an agenda and an objective for each meeting
  • Create and send an agenda and objectives for every partner call in advance of the meeting
  • Serve as the Meeting Excellence Director for each meeting, keeping the agenda moving, and insuring that we capture action items and next steps from every meeting
  • Communicate next steps and action items to the project team, and project manager action items toward specific goals
  • Provide high levels of customer service and create excellent guest experience for all events from start to finish

Other Duties

  • Executing on tasks that fall outside of the scope of the Service Departments
  • Specifically, lead on data analysis of each partner in coordination with Data Specialist
  • Other duties and tasks as they arise in the context of each partner's unique needs

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years project management experience
  • At least three years of nonprofit experience in any capacity
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work in diverse teams, and ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong interpersonal, time management, and oral and written communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail, flexibility in highstress situations, and the willingness to assist with all tasks needed to ensure the success of small team
  • Must be computer literate, with strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with CRMs, Trello and Bitrix a plus
