Primary Responsibilities:


  • Act as a lead for crossfunctional projects through ongoing requirements gathering, design, configuration, test, deployment, and maintenance of Workday configuration for new functionality or enhancements
  • Demonstrate specialized expertise through creative solution design in order to evaluate wideranging and complex issues
  • Complete system configuration requirements and documentation for requested enhancements and system changes including approved changes to business processes, organization changes, workflows, and security models
  • Work with functional users to determine and prioritize project requirements to meet changing needs
  • Effectively collaborate with other teams to resolve issues, including impact assessments on program logic issues, data discrepancies, and system design while proactively seeking feedback from appropriate parties on suggested solutions
  • Prepare test plans, execute test scripts, and support user acceptance testing and training
  • Recommend improvements to procedures and/or process flows to reduce and eliminate processing errors
  • Assist with systemrelated tasks for special projects, mergers, acquisitions, system conversions, deconversions, and company divestitures
  • Perform ongoing maintenance regarding tenant setup, data updates (EIBs), business processes, and reporting
  • Collaborate with HRIS Team to manage Workday major release impact on configurations and integrations identifying risks and opportunities for enhancements
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity
  • Troubleshoot HRIS issues and errors, quickly resolving them along with root causes by leveraging best practices and developing long term solutions
  • Guide, train, lead and consult with functional users to identify best practice and strategy in configuration
  • May participate in or create integrations from Workday as needed

Education & Experience:


  • Solid experience with Workday HRIS system in the Talent and Learning Modules
  • Strong Workday user; knowledge of configuration, testing and implementation techniques
  • Minimum of 2 years data administration on Workday system with increasing complexity over time
  • Bachelor's degree (relevant experience and/or certification in specialist HR/IT function may be substituted for degree, when appropriate)

Required Skills:


  • Experience in Workday Talent or Learning.
  • Experience creating custom reports in Workday including Advanced, Matrix report types.
  • Strong analytic, problem solving, consultancy and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of requirement gathering techniques, project management, and HRIS systems development methodologies.
  • Robust analytical skills; knowledge of configuration, testing and implementation techniques.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, with especially advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, and lookups.
  • Critical thinker with exceptional ability to model business processes and identify and resolve gaps.
  • Fluent English, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated history of significant customer deliverables, building rapport, and influencing decisions.
