Be part of R&D engine development focused on Engine Calibration project management with high excellence on engineering skills and accountability of each engine performance to achieve customers' expectations.
Job functions include but are not limited to:
Lead cross-functional program for engine calibration development to ensure completion of key milestones of engine project schedule.
Develop Engine calibration project schedules and manage critical path.
Monitor metrics, identify key issues, bring 'decision ready' issues forward to chief engine engineer.
Perform analysis of data to draw conclusions and provide recommendations to various internal technical teams
Be the liaison between engine project management team and calibration test teams.
Ensure Engine calibration stays on schedule according to resources stablished.
Be able to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally within the Nissan organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Automotive/Mechatronics or related)
Minimum of 1 year of professional-level experience in related engineering discipline, project management experience desired.
Firm understanding of automotive technology/industry and engineering practices,
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated leadership skills with positive mindset and teamwork skill. Self-motivated, assertive, learner, fair, transparent and remains calm in the face of stressful situations.
High sense of urgency and ownership.
Negotiation skill among different parties
Analytical and logical thinking, creativity to propose engineering solutions.
Language:
English (proficiency level)
Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
Desired experience in design of experiments (DOE) and work with Nissan suppliers or other OEMs, experience with CRETA tool and software calibration management.
