Introduction/Brief Desc of the Client/Account:


  • Placemakr is a highgrowth VCbased startup in Washington, DC that is transforming hospitality real estate for the next generation of travelers. Our customers are looking for the quality and consistency of a hotel with the comfort and space of an apartment. By partnering with developers, property operators, and investors, we curate a collection of apartment spaces in handpicked neighborhoods. Our building operations range from brandnew apartments as they're leasing up to an unprecedented flexibleuse asset class that flexibly optimizes apartment and hospitality use.
  • In this role, you will assist in ensuring that our portfolio of properties meets revenue and RevPAR targets while learning and contributing to revenue optimization strategies. You will play a crucial role in supporting the success of your portfolio and assisting the revenue team and Placemakr in disrupting both the hospitality and real estate sectors through revenue optimization efforts.

Requirements:


Responsibilities:


  • Support revenue optimization efforts for your assigned portfolio.
  • Assist in innovating and refining the RM function's internal processes and SOPs.
  • Assist in defining inventory and rate strategies for properties across various revenue segments and channels.
  • Assist in executing pricing strategies for your portfolio, aiming to achieve Revenue and RevPAR targets.
  • Assist in tracking Revenue Management KPIs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Gain expertise on local markets and competitive dynamics to contribute to revenue optimization efforts.
  • Assist in forecasting future monthly performance for each property through market analysis.
  • Support the sales team by adhering to a rate quoting/approval process to build a suitable base of business and occupancy during lower demand periods.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to maximize the profitability of channel mix strategies.
  • Work with the operations team to optimize guest experience and incorporate feedback on pricing strategy changes.
  • Contribute as a thought partner to assist the product team in building tools to optimize revenue.
  • Analyze revenue for specific properties, forecast performance, manage distribution channels, connect to distributions, and adjust pricing accordingly.
  • Respond to sales inquiries and support the senior team on reporting tasks.
