Healthcare Sales Representative
Med Supply US is a medical supply company that provides diabetic supplies to patients and doctors offices. We are looking for a full-time Medical Assistant to join our team.


Position Overview:

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for calling doctors offices to request paperwork for our diabetic patients.

This includes patient medical history, insurance information, and prescriptions.

The Medical Assistant will also be responsible for scheduling appointments, answering phones, and filing paperwork.


Responsibilities:


  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with doctors' offices, nurses, and administrative staff.
  • Initiate outbound calls to doctors' offices to gather necessary paperwork for our diabetic patients, including prescription renewals, authorization forms, and insurance documentation.
  • Provide detailed information about our products and services to doctors' offices, promoting Med Supply US as a trusted provider of medical supplies.
  • Collaborate with doctors' office staff to resolve any issues or concerns related to paperwork, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all communications and transactions with doctors' offices.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient and timely processing of paperwork, following company procedures and protocols.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in the healthcare industry, particularly in relation to diabetic care, insurance regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between doctors' offices and our internal team, facilitating effective communication and providing feedback to improve processes.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a medical office environment, preferably in a role involving direct interaction with doctors' offices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and professionally.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Detailoriented with excellent organizational skills, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and timely followup.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, and diabetic care is highly desirable.
  • Must be a selfstarter and possess a proactive attitude towards problemsolving.
