We are a growing drafting and engineering company for the millwork industry with presence in the United States. We distinguish ourselves by providing high quality services.We are currently seeking to strengthen our capacity in our millwork estimating and Pre-engineering departments. We are looking for proactive individuals who can perform at high standards of professionalism and excellence.

Professional Background:
drafting technicians, professionals in architecture, industrial design, carpenter, budget and cost.
- Experience as a drafter/estimator for millwork/cabinet shops is a plus, but not required.
- A B2 English language in both oral and written is required. If you were able to read and understand this job opening without the help of a translator, you are welcome to apply.
- Be capable of working under low supervision, while meeting the client deadlines.
- Knowledge to read and comprehend architectural blue prints.
- Previous knowledge in the millwork industry in a position other than drafter/estimator is a plus.
- Great autonomy and performance.
Position Responsibilities:
- To become an important member of the estimating & Preengineering departments
- To create material takeoffs, following client standards and requirements.
- To be able to read architectural plans and extract the necessary information to generate millwork estimates.
- To be able to read architectural plans to find discrepancies and lack of information in order to bring them to the client's attention as part of the preengineering process.
- To interpret English measurements correctly.
- Be able to retain and put into practice all knowledge to be provided during the training process.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Collaboration and team work.
Requirements:
- The position is a hybrid work environment. (4) days homeoffice, (1) day office. Must live in the metropolitan area of Medellin.
- Reliable Stable internet connection required.
- Should use his/her own computer during work trial/training period. The company will provide the software necessary for the job.
Schedule/Working hours:
48 hours
Monday-Thursday: 7:00am - 6pm
Fridays: 7:00am - 4pm
