Job Purpose:

As a
Vendor Claims Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in managing vendor claims and reconciliation processes.

In this position, you'll collaborate closely with vendor partners to ensure accurate financial claims submission, resolve issues, and optimize profitability.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit financial claims for assigned vendors, adhering to required formatting and deadlines. Manage claims for various activities, including special pricing, marketing, rebates, etc.
Complete account analyses and reconciliations, researching and resolving issues and claim denials received from vendors.
Engage in negotiations with vendors to achieve positive outcomes on claims, preventing financial losses due to aging claims.
Provide financial and analytical support to various departments, assisting in monthend close activities and deliverable preparation.
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in vendor claims and operations.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to recognize and attend to important details accurately and efficiently.
Demonstrated ability in complex problemsolving, critical thinking, and decisionmaking.

Able to work independently with mínimal supervision while also collaborating effectively with others.
