Requirements:


  • Education Required: Master
Minimum Teaching Experience: 3 years of teaching experience

  • Major: Social Studies, Anthropology, Sociology, Political Sciences, History

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree, Master's degree in Education, Social Studies, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a middle school setting
  • Strong knowledge of Social Studies curriculum and instructional strategies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive school culture
  • Experience with technology in the classroom and integrating technology into lesson plans
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.

Job Description:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Teach Social Studies to students in grades 6
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the academic standards and objectives of the school
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and academic growth
  • Utilize a variety of teaching techniques and strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure academic success and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
  • Foster a positive classroom culture that values diversity and promotes inclusivity
  • Collaborate with other teachers and faculty members to develop and implement crossdisciplinary projects and programs
  • Use technology effectively to enhance student learning and engagement
  • Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other schoolrelated events as required
  • Participate in schoolwide events, including open houses, parentteacher conferences, and extracurricular activities as needed
