Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Experience with technology in the classroom and integrating technology into lesson plans

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Social Studies to students in grades 6
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the academic standards and objectives of the school
Create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and academic growth
Utilize a variety of teaching techniques and strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students
Monitor and assess student progress to ensure academic success and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
Foster a positive classroom culture that values diversity and promotes inclusivity
Collaborate with other teachers and faculty members to develop and implement crossdisciplinary projects and programs
Use technology effectively to enhance student learning and engagement
Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other schoolrelated events as required
Participate in schoolwide events, including open houses, parentteacher conferences, and extracurricular activities as needed
