BD Interventional (BDI) focuses on leading innovation and life-enhancing devices in the field of surgical, endovascular, urological, and critical care interventions aiming at advancing the treatment of high burden diseases and enabling surgical and interventional procedures.

Provide technical and scientific technical support expertise in customer interactions.

  • Assist the Sales, Marketing and Clinical Specialist Teams with updated support material from the scientific
point of view.

  • Provide technical support and training to local teams for the implementation and/or maintenance of products.
  • Coordinates, plans, and conducts all aspects of the physician and customer training and education
programs conducted through BDI products.


Job Description:

The MA Specialist should give support to clinical team in front of customers, when requested, collaborating in the

education of the internal users, and training them on BDI solutions.

  • MA Specialist should be able to give talks and lectures in front of groups of healthcare professionals, seminars
and when it is required to answer the questions of off-label use of our portfolio.

  • The MA Specialist will carry out technical coaching in the field to the clinical and sales teams.
  • The MA Specialist must know the business strategy and support it from a scientific point of view.
perspective

  • Support new product launches
  • Support the development of continuous medical education training endorsed by academic entities and scientific
societies.

  • Review of all promotional, training and customerfacing materials with scientific content on the Veeva/PromoMats
platform.

  • Onsite:
  • Contact with site COE to scientific discussions and clinical evidence dissemination.
  • Coordinate with Managers the Veeva standards for Presentations and Educational Videos.
  • Organize database by Disease State, discuss with Managers to upload content to our digital
platform.

  • Work with a Thirdparty edit company to coordinate the editing jobs.
  • Inventory, Coordinates with BU MKT and SALES order, and assure delivery of BI products used in
Live Cases and Recorded.

  • Platform followup and usage recordings report to Managers
  • Management of the scientific library platforms and projects of key opinion leaders.
General Departament Support

  • Provide professional communication between Advance Program and BU.
  • Work with training site staff and faculty to ensure regulatory requirements for training programs are
met.

  • Provide department communication and administrative support
  • Manage a complete and detailed program records database
Leadership & Influence

  • Requires high internal and external communication skills.
  • It is the first level of contact of BD with KOL, Scientific Associations and Universities / schools.
  • Should influence the adoption of international and local standards and regulations.
  • Will have the ability to identify and support development programs for key decision makers, Medical Societies and
KOLs for products and therapies associated with BDI portfolio.

  • Review the presentations of our speakers prior to academic and other promotional events.
Competitor Analysis

  • The MA Specialist should understand features and attributes of competitive products
  • Support the development of materials that highlight the features, attributes and benefits of our product portfolio in
comparison to competitive products.

Management of objections

  • Handling of technical objections by customers and associates.
