The Financial Planning Analyst is responsible for supporting Local Entity Forecasting and support Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment (ICAAP) Financial Forecasting Processes, providing insights of Legal Entity results in coordination with the multidisciplinary team.


The Local Planning team forms part of the Latin America South FP&A function, which creates value through emphasis on Forward Looking processes ensuring adherence with regulatory requirements.

The successful applicant will be expected to work closely with Local Planning head, Country CFO and FP&A teams. This will also require extensive involvement with the business locally and regionally. Strong communication skills are essential, as is an ability to tailor communication styles to different levels of management. FP&A becomes a driver for local and global projects so experience in leading projects is advantageous.


Overall, the role offers a lot of variety in day-to-day activities and ad hoc projects and, as such, the successful applicant will need to be able to manage competing priorities.


Responsibilities
Support Local Entity Forecasting exercises and Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment (ICAAP) Financial Forecasting processes


Act as a strategic partner across FP&A and work closely with Local and Regional Risk, Corporate Treasury, Controller and Businesses providing challenge and feedback.

Execute Model Development and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Be responsible for the analysis, investigation, ad hoc queries, and commentary on Local entity Forecasting and ICAAP results

Manage and enhance process documentation, process flows and controls to help drive process improvements

Support the development of presentations and meeting materials for internal senior management and regulatory interactions

Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members

Other ad hoc finance or business-related projects.


Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.

Master's in business administration, Finance, or related field preferred.

6+ years in Finance related roles with a combination of accounting/control and planning/analysis experience required.

A broad understanding of financial services industry preferred.

Background in the following is a plus:
Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process

Reporting and analysis

Banking Regulation

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Experience with Data and visualization tools a plus

Experience with financial modelling (Statistical, econometric models)

Experience with Python and R is a plus

Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English)

Strong analytical/data analysis skills and detail oriented.


Must be able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, perform well under pressure, and meet strict deadlines demonstrating independent leadership skills.

Excellent communication skills to drive engagement and close interactions with key stakeholders.

Problem solving skills with the ability to identify and implement data and process improvements.

Leadership skills including ability to work effectively and drive results across the regional team

Proven ability to work in high-pressure environments
