About the job


We are looking for a talented Analytic Consulting Associate with strong skills in data analysis, data interpretation and insights generation.

This role oversees executing, and conducting analytic projects aimed at increasing retailer's sales globally. Working with data, SQL code and NIQ tools.

Collaborate with the Customer Success and Support teams to lead execution of projects that will shape pricing decisions of today's leading retailers.


Responsibilities

  • Own project execution using combination of SQL, Excel and NielsenIQ tools.
  • Provide errorfree, ontime results to internal/external clients.
  • Create and execute project plans for assigned work. Includes collecting, organizing, and tracking data inputs as well as leading internal meetings.
  • Ensure analysis results are of high quality: statistically, logically and from a business viewpoint.
  • Use critical thinking to investigate and solve any unexpected issues in managed projects.
  • Works consultatively and creatively with NielsenIQ teams to provide accurate answers to client follow ups, following SCQA framework.
  • Interpret findings and draw conclusions from model results.
  • Successfully explains to commercial teams how to read and interpret the data.

About you


We're looking for someone who likes to work with data, calculations, and codes, but can also communicate clearly and efficiently with people.

Who manages time and deadlines easily. Curious and interested in identifying the narratives behind numbers and logical connections between the numbers.


Qualifications:


Must have
Hard Skills

  • College/University Degree (Statistical Background preferred)
  • 12 years of relevant work experience in Data Analytics, Business and/or Marketing
  • Good knowledge of SQL and Excel
  • English level: proficiency
Soft Skills

  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Understanding of statistics
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to identify and diagnose errors/issues independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to effectively manage time and a variety of responsibilities
  • Enthusiasm for learning

Desirable

  • Knowledge of NielsenIQ data, or NielsenIQ analytics.
  • International work experience.
