Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and manage the daytoday accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and provide recommendations to management for strategic decisionmaking.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records by implementing and maintaining effective internal controls and procedures.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, such as finance, operations, and external auditors, to support financial audits, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Manage the monthend and yearend closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and guidelines.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives, as assigned, to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience working as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role, demonstrating a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and tools, such as ERP systems, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and relevant accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and present financial information to nonfinancial stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to supervise and mentor junior accounting professionals.
  • Solid understanding of tax regulations and experience in tax compliance.
  • High level of integrity and ethical conduct in handling sensitive financial information.
