Position is in charge of managing tax compliance and tax accounting functions including: i.

preparation and timely filing of federal and municipal tax returns for Income Tax (including Transfer Pricing), and related estimated and final payments; ii.

calculation and booking of Income Tax monthly provision for local books, US GAAP books, and ETR reporting purposes, including DTA substantiation and valuation allowance analysis, and related financial reporting aspects.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the overall management of the tax liabilities, of Citi, both directly and in connection with transactions with clients, including the related compliance, financial reporting, planning and controversy processes.
Contributes to the planning, accounting, filing and the reporting of tax liability of the company.
Assists in determining and compiling information required to satisfy income tax filing and related requirements at all levels of jurisdiction.
May participate in managing payments to tax authorities in compliance with specific tax regulations.
Focuses on the implementation of policies and procedures.
Uses communication and diplomacy to guide and influence others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.
Perform other duties and functions as assigned

Qualifications:

610 years relevant experience in taxes / financial sector and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standard) or USGAAP

Education:

Bachelors degree (public accountant, lawyer) potentially Masters degree
Specialization in Taxes
Fluent in English & Spanish
