**Role Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Controllership Analyst to join our team at Nu Colombia. This individual will play a crucial role in preparing statutory financial statements, executing financial controls, and analyzing large data sets.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare statutory financial statements and execute financial controls related to the general ledger, including structure, policies, and disclosures.
• Review monthly trial balances and prepare general reconciliation controls.
• Analyze large data sets using tools like SQL, Scala, Python, or others.
• Support regulator reporting and analysis, including XBRL and SFC reports.
• Prepare documentation for internal and regulatory audits.
• Support financial controls execution, including SOX and entity-level controls.
• Experience with SAP, including report extraction, view creation, and participation in implementation projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with knowledge of IFRS and experience with Financial Institutions.
• 4-5 years of accounting experience, including reconciliations, depreciation, financial controls, and closing processes.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience with regulatory reporting for the Financial Superintendency of Colombia.
• Experience in SAP implementation.
• Proven experience working with IFRS standards.

The position is based in Bogotá, Colombia.

Work Environment:

We operate a hybrid work model, which includes cycles of two to three months, with office presence required for one week after every 8-12 weeks of remote work.
