What will I be doing?

Hilton is seeking a Sales Manager with the Hilton Colombia Area Sales Office to be responsible for total account management, including Business Travel Sales and Group Sales for the Area Sales Office in Bogota, Colombia.

If you are looking for a position that provides responsibility for developing new market segments and solicitation of new customer relationships, while maintaining and existing relationships with current accounts, then this role is for you.


For Business Travel Accounts, you will be responsible for the creation of individual account plans and subsequent follow-up on those account action plans.

You will supervise the facilitation of the annual customer RFP process for your accounts and analyze all data to ensure Hilton Worldwide has maximum coverage and inclusion in customer's programs.

This position is based in Bogota, Colombia, and will require the person to be home-based in Bogota, Colombia.


More specifically, you will:

  • Represent Hilton Worldwide (ASO team) professionally and with leadership in FAM trips, travel, and domestic trade fairs as well as events significant to our market.
  • Prospect new clients and opportunities, work with business strategies, and recognize new potential opportunities.
  • Update daily data and information in the system, as well as daily monitoring of negotiations with customers.
  • Own the account management and account development for a roster of accounts that is segmented vertically and within the country of Colombia.
  • Ensure account qualification and compliance to account governance protocol.
  • Collaborate across Hilton Worldwide Sales and with other valuable partners to provide total client solutions.
  • Present the sales pitch to clients with complex needs across multiple areas of the business. You will provide an overall solutions approach.
  • Use sales growth techniques to drive revenue and improve client total brand usage.
  • Achieve revenue targets and sales proficiencies.
  • Address objections by using a repositioning sales strategy or by successfully performing negotiations.
  • Incorporate a personalized approach to the existing client acquisition sales methods to improve selling performance.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of sales principles and protocols to increase revenue per client while ensuring revenue targets are achieved.
  • Communicate hotel promotions with a high degree of ease to support client needs.
  • Analyze industry trends as well as competitor strengths and weaknesses. You will incorporate industry and client analyses into the forecast and future client needs.
