Job Description:

Role Summary:
We seek an individual to serve as a liaison between our organization and external vendors. The successful candidate will provide consultative services, implementing, driving, and maintaining vendor programs, marketing, and training initiatives. This includes reviewing and negotiating terms of vendor contracts and communicating with vendors regarding day-to-day matters. The role also involves building and maintaining positive relationships with vendors and monitoring their performance.

Vendor Relationship Management Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized consultative services to vendors
• Implement, drive, and maintain vendor programs, marketing, and training initiatives
• Review and negotiate terms of vendor contracts
• Communicate with vendors regarding day-to-day matters
• Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors
• Monitor vendor performance
• Research invoice and contractual issues and resolve discrepancies

Requirements:

• Established and productive professional individual contributor
• Works independently with general supervision
• General proficiency with various tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job
• A four-year college degree (or additional experience in a related field)
• 3 years functional experience including a minimum 1 year position-specific experience
