Monks is looking for a key lead within the finance team to focus on the financial ecosystem between agency, clients and media partners.

In this role, you'll work closely with our media investment teams, as well as client finance / audit teams to ensure our media financial operations run smoothly and flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and generate monthly client billings in accordance with the signed media estimates
You will be responsible for receiving, analyzing, posting and transmitting/forwarding our invoice(s) to our client(s) with close coordination with suppliers and media buyers

Collaborate with media account teams in gathering appropriate monthly client revenue and media spend forecasts
Assist with updating the monthly client financial/ budget reports
Work cohesively with the media team to ensure costs are on track and budgets are fulfilled
Prepare monthly financial summary reports for monthly budget/billing meetings with client finance managers and media team
Monitor all media estimates and have them entered in our financial system
Follow up with clients on past due receivables.
Track & audit media costs throughout the entire duration of each campaign
Review all incoming vendor invoices, code and enter the invoices into the general ledger platform using the appropriate general ledger account/ job/campaign numbers
Collaborate with Media teams on the coding of vendor invoices
Set-Up vendors in the system with the appropriate documentation (vendor form & W9)
Prepare a payment schedule of when vendor invoices should be processed for payment
Reconcile media jobs as campaigns are completed and resolve any cost discrepancies
Monitor the unbilled media costs per booking with monthly followups to suppliers.
Contribute in the Month-End close process: provide media spend accruals, forecasted spend, etc.
Assist in the yearly company audit and any client audits that come up throughout the year
Ad hoc duties as required

Qualifications:

4+ years in a media operations role with a strong focus on financial stewardship and media bill / pay process
Prior media agency experience required
Expert within Media Ocean suite of services; Experience with other buying tool platforms significant plus
Experience participating in 3rd party media financial audits
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and team player
Intermediate English
