The Role
The founders have experience in Engineering, Product and Leadership at companies like Airbnb, Google, and Zapier. We are looking for our first engineering hire.
What we're looking for
This is a part-time, remote, contract role with the potential to transition to full time.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience on frontend development
- Extensive experience with React, TypeScript, and CSS
- Ability to work autonomously and with mínimal supervision
- Good written english (spoken preferred but not necessary)
- React performance optimization experience
- Extensive CSS experience
- Have a growth mindset take feedback, able to collaborate effectively
- Cares about code maintainability abstraction, DRY, comments, testing but can balance this with moving quickly
Bonus Experience
- Interest in interaction design
- Open Source contributions
- Experience with Redux, Storybook. We believe smart engineers can learn new technology quickly so this is not a must.
- Backend experience is a plus; the role is for frontend but can expand to backend
Product Tech Stack
- We use Typescript with high (~99%) typecoverage
- React, / Vercel
- Supabase / Postgres
- Bootstrap (but considering a Tailwind/Flowbite switch)
- Example libraries: tRPC, Zod, Lodash
- AWS
Salary:
From $16 per hour
