Overview


Your mission is to maximize customer retention rates, reduce renewal A/R collection times and promote product expansion through proactive outreach.

You will be expected to maintain communications with our existing clients and facilitate the renewal process including updating customer contracts, providing customer accounting contacts and providing support to our accounting group's A/R process/team.

You will be expected to develop and maintain a good understanding of product updates and new offerings and have the ability to articulate those improvements to increase customer awareness.

You should be able to identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities as well as recognize customers who are at risk. Cross-sell opportunities will be handed off to the appropriate account manager.


Responsibilities

  • Communications with customers about software usage, capabilities and identify shortfalls including training needs, service projects and other available solutions to help improve client value/retention.
  • Maintaining relationships with customer employees both from a user and sponsor basis
  • Keeping information in CRM updated (Salesforce), including account information and renewal opportunities
  • Monitoring customer usage of our software throughout the customer's annual cycle and working in conjunction with the Customer Success group to help identify renewals at risk of churn.
  • Responsible for the renewals at a specific set of our customers, mostly our smaller accounts

This work will include:

  • Communicating with customers about the renewal timing and managing them through our annual renewal cycle.
  • Obtaining the customer's agreement to the renewal terms, including obtaining signed documentation/contracts as needed.
  • Managing the accounts receivable process for renewals; including identifying where to send invoices, obtaining PO's if necessary and helping our accounting group with collections as needed.
  • And other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


  • Postsecondary education in an administrative, engineering or businessrelated discipline with 13 years' experience or equivalent work experience preferably in the energy or software sectors.
  • 1+ years consulting, software implementation, support, sales, or technical account management
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn software programs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a rapidly growing & changing environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
  • High level of attention to detail, demands quality in all results and excellent followup skills
  • Ability to take initiative and multitask.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Experience operating in a highvolume, targeted outreach model
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Skills

  • Some familiarity with Quorum solution offerings preferred
