Roles and Responsibilities
Key tasks & responsibilities for this role include:
- Development across a variety of technologies to build excellent tools
- Work both independently and as part of of a team to provide excellent service and deliverables to our customers
- Relentlessly champion excellence by taking an active role in the identification and creation of standards, tools, and operating procedures governing Software Team activities in order to continuously raise the bar for our whole team
- Mentor and train other team members in skills, engineering concepts, best practices, and technologies where you possess expertise
- Learn and operate in a wide variety of technologies, softwares, and platforms
- Take an active role in building and shaping Software team procedures, methods, tools, and resources
- Perform customer discovery sessions to document project requirements and generate development estimates
- Engage with crossfunctional teams to understand processes to propose and implement improvements
Skills and Experience Required
- Computer Science/Software Engineering or similar degree or appropriate work experience
- Experience performing full stack development of system components and full systems.
- Experience in the design, development, and consumption of secure REST APIs
- Reliable Revit API integrations in C# highly preferred
- Front End / User Interface Design and Development Expertise preferred
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Spanish additionally beneficial
- Self-Starter with ability to work independently or operate embedded within a team as projects require
- Experience with Github
- Experience with G Suite/Google Workspace a plus
- Experience with AEC and BIM focused tools and technologies a plus (e,g, Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM 360, Dynamo, Rhino, Grasshopper, Forge, etc.)
- Web technologies
- HTML, CSS, Javascript,Type Script, , , Python
- Software Deployment
- Cyber Security best practices knowledge and development capabilities highly preferred
- Cloud technology experience (Azure, AWS, etc.) a plus
- Perform unit and integration testing to ensure code quality and stability
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and other development methodologies
- Civil 3D advanced
