The Enfermero jefe Cirugía at Clínica de Occidente is responsible for overseeing the surgical department.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Nursing Staff Scheduling: Structure the assignment of nursing assistants per shift to meet service needs.
2. Surgical Program Administration: Carry out administrative activities to ensure the smooth operation of the surgical program.
3. Resource Allocation: Estimate and allocate resources required for service delivery, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
4. Ongoing Education: Participate in ongoing education, training workshops, and primary meetings to enhance professional development.
5. Quality and Patient Safety: Actively participate in quality and patient safety processes to maintain high standards of care.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in surgery services within medium and high complexity institutions, hold an updated CPR certification, and have completed a Sexual Violence course with knowledge in the area. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
