We are a small fast-growing quantity surveying company headquartered in Calgary Canada with a team of around 20 people. We are looking to hire a full-time employee/ manager, working from home with the following requirements.

• Fluent in English speaking and writing
• Ability to read and comprehend technical construction documents and create a summary for management review including construction drawings, bill of quantities, and technical specifications.
• Minimum 4 years of Quantity Surveying and construction industry knowledge.
• Ability to research and propose solutions.
• Strong report writing/ technical writing/ professional writing in MS Word with a focus on the flow of language and grammar.
• Strong excel skills with knowledge of formulas, tables, and analysis.
• Strong internet connection.
• Access to cell phone and laptop independently.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Knowledge in building valuation and cost estimation is desired.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bogotá, Cundinamarca: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Civil engineer: 4 years (required)

• English (required)
