    eveloper, you will be responsible for building or improving native Android and iOS applications including contributing to backend services for mobile counterparts.

    Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these applications and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.

    Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.
    At Anthology, we build software products that empower institutions to make strategic decisions with their data. These products assist with several aspects of higher education including Student Engagement, Program Assessment, and Course Evaluations. Our Software Engineers, along with

    professionals, are fundamental to the creation of solutions for our member institutions.
    At Anthology, software engineers will learn to apply their software development expertise as members of a cross-functional team.

    Our teams usually consist of Product Managers, UX Designers, and Developers of varying interests to create a Full Stack team.

    Software Engineers learn and practice all aspects of software development including (but not limited to) understanding user feedback, developing the software, testing, CI/CD practices, DevOps, and ongoing maintenance.

    The Candidate:

    Required skills/qualifications:
    At least

    3 years of relevant experienceComputer Science/Engineering background or ability to demonstrate a strong technical

    backgroundFluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or

    aboveProven software development experience with native iOS and native AndroidExperience with RESTful patterns and web servicesSome experience with relational and/or NoSQL databasesExperience with linting code, creating unit tests, and being an active participant in code

    reviewsDesire to work as a member of an inclusive, cross-functional

    teamPreferred
