    What You Can Expect

    The E2E Supply Chain Sr. Production Planner at Zimmer Biomet is responsible for ensuring reliable product availability and optimizing service levels, inventory, and supply chain. The E2E Supply Chain Planner converts the aggregate family and monthly supply plans into SKU and weekly supply and distribution plans. This global role requires close cooperation and working with a number of stakeholders within Zimmer Biomet. The role is also responsible for continuously monitoring the flow, informing stakeholders and taking proactive measures to ensure that agreed targets are met. In doing so, this position helps Zimmer Biomet commit to the highest standards of patient safety and quality in our products and services and to world-class integrity and ethical business practices.

    How You'll Create Impact

    Strategic & Vision
    • Manage the global SKU level, weekly supply and distribution planning for dedicated global product lines
    • Drive robust standard planning processes to manage business rules and planning parameters, based on appropriate, data driven decisions and correct data usage
    • Contribute to establishing a reliable, high quality centralized supply planning function within Zimmer Biomet's supply chain
    Operations
    • Execute global supply and distribution planning processes at the SKU level for dedicated product lines across multiple plants and distribution nodes
    • Contribute to the annual budgeting and monthly projections for assigned scope of product families and SKUs
    • Apply Class A principles and best practices
    • Expert user in the advanced planning system for creating and managing the
    • Evaluate and respond to demand plan change requests within the demand time fence
    • Analyze large quantities of data to help the Supply Chain team and other parts of the organization make decisions that drive value
    • Design clear, impactful metrics and reports that will help drive our business
    • Coordinate resolution of exceptions within the demand time fence
    What Makes You Stand Out
    • Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures required
    • Knowledge of all aspects of material management, supply planning, and delivery highly preferred
    • Experience in medical device regulatory environment is preferred
    • Ability to apply continuous process improvement
    • Ability to use analytical tools to issue, support, and execute decisions
    • Strong ability to communicate upwards and across the organization
    • Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
    Your Background
    • English proficiency required (C1).
    • BS or BA in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or other related field
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, project management, planning, or IT systems
    • APIC CPIM and/or CSCP certification preferred
    • Experience with medical devices preferred
    • Experience with one or more ERP systems preferred
