Job Description:
Support the department gathering and analyzing information from the GL, bank statements, accounting, and company systems. He / She will utilize significant part of their time reconciling bank accounts.


Responsabilities:

  • Create proposal of journal entries
  • Review and analyze general ledger and sub ledgers
  • Complete bank reconciliations and others related with cash position
  • Work with AP, AR, Taxes and other departments in order to collect information required
  • Report to client pending transaction, based on daily Bank Reconciliation
  • Report to BR Leader, daily status of duties and responsibilities
  • Assist with preparation and responses for audits
  • Update and maintain policies & procedure documentation
  • Assist Accounting Manager and BR Leader with day-to-day assignments
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills:


  • A technical degree in accounting (or equivalent experience)
  • 6 months of experience in corporate accounting
  • Excellent computer skills a must
  • Excel skills including fluent with Pivot Tables and formulas, Word, and Email
  • English as a second language is required
  • Possibilities to modify work schedule is a plus
  • Communicate effectively in individual or group situations including demonstrating active listening skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, using accurate grammatical form and able to read and interpret written information
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality. A high standard of integrity and sound business ethics
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; strict attention to detail
  • Demonstrates excellence in work standards; is tenacious in completing tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Able to participate in solving problems and help make decisions based on the best information available by developing resolutions between parties
  • Works well with other team members and departments in a professional and friendly manner to accomplish mutual goals and prepare assignments on time
  • Able to ask for support and help as needed
  • Ensures effectiveness in processes to achieve/seek best practice
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improved systems and efficiencies
