As a
Senior Operations Analyst, you will assist in the Operations and analysis of various properties as well as provide support to our broader corporate FP&A team.

Partnering closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, thoughtful and timely analysis for each opportunity.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in economics, finance, accounting, math, or engineering.
  • 3+ years in a related role focusing on complex financial modeling and valuation.
  • Familiarity with multifamily/hospitality assets and their operations and valuation.
  • Demonstrated ability to research and track down the best possible answer or solution.
  • Proof of strong quantitative skills, specifically with Excel.
  • Thirst for learning.
  • Unwavering attention to detail.
  • Critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
  • Consummate professionalism.

What awaits you in this role?

  • Prepare new property budgets by interpreting underwriting models and speaking with various stakeholders to ensure our new properties kick off successfully.
  • Review and analyze property operations to support Area Managers.

This includes, but is not limited to:

reviewing monthly financial statements, STR and Kalibri reports, variance reports, balance sheet and operating statements; keeping up to date on market information, including changes to supply, renovation of competitive assets, new demand generators and other events that may materially impact asset performance; developing and updating asset level and portfolio level reports to monitor performance and identify new opportunities to generate additional value.


  • Prepare monthly reports and KPI's for assigned properties to share with the Executive team, Board of Directors, and Developers/Owners of the properties we have partnered with; including writing variance explanations for budget comparisons.
  • As assets continue to operate, establish and update key performance benchmarks to enable Placemakr to continually improve performance.
  • Assist with corporate annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting.
  • Assist property team and accountants with monthly reporting and forecasting.
  • Prepare monthly corporate reporting and KPI's.
  • Lead the preparation of monthly performance decks to share with asset ownership and investors.
  • Support the annual property budget and business plan process, including developing annual business plans.
  • Review invoices for accuracy and proper coding to ensure monthly expenses are reported timely and accurately.
  • Calculate monthend accruals.
  • Evaluate property payroll, including consolidating internal costs and external, thirdparty cleaning costs.
  • Support other departments with adhoc analysis as needed.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
