C++ Engineer - Bogota, Colombia - Remoti
Descripción
In this role you'll:
- You will participate in the technical design and implementation of new features according to Amadeus's guidelines and the highest quality standards.
- You will collaborate in an open and constructive manner with all the stakeholders (Product Definition, Quality Assurance, Management, train leaders)
- You will support the end users in production by performing the appropriate level of investigation in case of issues and propose solutions in the shortest possible timeframe
- You will deploy and maintain the software on the different platforms.
- University degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Software development experience of minimum 5 years
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Technical skills:
- Strong knowledge of C++ in a multithreading environment
- Python is a plus
- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux systems and shell
- Good knowledge of Oracle DB and SQL
- Basic notions of sysadmin (for our SRE responsibilities)
- Knowledge of Angular is a plus
- Knowledge about cloud environments (e.g. Azure) and technologies
- A collaborative and proactive approach
- The capability to work in a multicultural, global environment
- Good relational skills and team spirit
- Passion for cuttingedge technology and staying current with industry trends
- Keen at learning new technologies: curiosity and openness are a must
- Great problemsolving skills with the ability to identify and solve issues before they evolve into big incidents
- Embracing agile methodologies and SAFe
