PayRetailers is a payment gateway designed to handle mass online payments to the Latin American market.

The company combines local markets expertise with payment technology enabling global merchants to successfully expand their business into high-growth, emerging markets while eliminating the many operational complexities of managing cross-border payments.

Our team is growing and we are looking for a UX/UI Designer to be based in Colombia.

As a UX/UI Designer You will be in charge of the development and continuous improvement of our transactional platform through the implementation of techniques and methodologies focused on improving usability, design, and quality of user interaction with products and services.

Job Duties And Responsibilities:

Responsible for coordinating UX activities from initial requirements gathering to concept creation, UI design, and implementation, with a holistic view of product and customer lifecycle.

Experience & Qualifications:

Professional in design, communication, or other disciplines related to the understanding of user behavior.
5 years of experience in similar roles.

Knowledge of design and usability standards.

Ability to create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and/or mockups to understand user flows and usage of the various products to be developed, focusing on functionality and ease of use.
Knowledge in design and layout of elements for web and mobile environments.
English level B1 or higher is a must.
Experience working in technology environments and agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum).
Experience working with A/B testing
Good knowledge in the use of design tools such as: XD Design, Miro, Flow Map, Figma, Sketch, Invision, Balsamiq, suit Adobe or other UX Design tools
Experience in ecommerce and electronic payment methods or experience in fintech environments is a plus.

Portfolio of UX and UI projects that showcase your work, as well as your creative process, from project conception to completion, will be an advantage.

Skills

Ability to promote good design principles in a transversal way with the different areas of the company.
Good presentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
With the ability to create reports/presentations that enable decisions that translate into usability improvements.
Focused on meeting expectations and committed deliverables with a high level of quality.
Skilled in researching and presenting new technologies, trends and techniques to improve the customer experience, or both external and internal users.
Excellent detail orientation and good analytical skills to understand complex flows at different levels of the business.
