    Ehvert Engineering Inc. is actively looking for Data Center Mechanical engineers to join our team in Colombia. If you are a creative, hard-working, team-oriented, and responsible person who has great communication skills, reasoning ability, and attention to detail then we are waiting for you

    We design the physical facilities and infrastructure that support the computers and network infrastructure for cloud providers and other types of organisations.

    We design and, in many cases, manage the construction process of the facility including the complex electrical, mechanical, automation and security systems to power, cool and secure the large number of computers that are housed in these facilities.

    Ehvert is recognized as a global leader in advanced engineering and construction techniques such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), and augmented reality.

    We use advanced tools and software such as Revit, AutoCAD, ETAB, SKM, Coolsim, Pipelfo, Solidworks, Inventor and other modern software.

    We are a boutique company that is growing quickly. We have offices in the United States, Canada, and Europe and have completed projects across Canada and the US.

    Ehvert sells its services to the world's largest cloud providers and to real estate developers that own and operate large data centers globally.

    This ranges from designing energy-efficient facilities, site supervision for multi-million-dollar facilities, to the production of digital twins, drawings, three-dimensional building modelling, computational fluid dynamics and the development of custom controls software.

    Experience in a high-tech industry, in an international company collaborating with people around the globeUnique very large and interesting projectsDynamic work in a team of professionals focused on engineeringManagement's attention, support, and motivationOpportunity to learn and gain experienceAbility to work from homeWhat will you do: Design, modelling, and simulation of mechanical systems for data centers (both new construction projects and retrofits) including HVAC, Piping, Plumbing, Condensation Systems, Cooling Towers, Chilled Water Systems, Boilers, Humidification SystemsGain a thorough understanding and delivery of the project requirements as they relate to scope, cost and scheduleUnderstand and expedite engineering deliverables for projectsDevelop and maintain the project scope of work documentation and revisions as required during the design evolutionPrepare detailed design mechanical drawingsDesign highly energy-efficient and sustainable systemsUnderstand mechanical engineering codes and safety standardsUse BIM tools to virtually construct mechanical systems and coordinate with other disciplines using tools such as Autodesk RevitPerform occasional site visits to report on construction progress, our clients' sites are mostly located in the United States (a valid US work visa is considered an asset but not required)

    Use laser scanners to document the current state of installationWhat we expect:

    Written and spoken English B1 and higherHands-on experience using tools and software such as Revit and AutoCADExperience with building and engineering systemsExperience in Computational Fluid Dynamic softwarePrevious experience in the construction industry in the United States or Colombia will be considered an asset but not requiredAbility to multi-task and prioritize accordingly while meeting project deadlinesSelf-starters that are ambitious and thrive in a fast-paced environmentAbility to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable mannerWe strongly believe that you can become part of our team and help us accomplish international engineering goals Join us To be considered for this role please share your resume in English only.
