Position Description:


A2R Team Lead E-Accounting is responsible for leading a E-Accounting team, ensuring the compliance of the E-acounting process for companies under their responsibility.

This position is highly involved in the "Comprobantes Fiscales Digitales por Internet (CFDI)" process in Mexico.

The CFDI process is a digital invoicing system mandated by the Mexican government, which requires businesses to generate, issue, and maintain electronic invoices for all commercial transactions.


As a E-Accounting Team Lead, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the CFDI compliance activities, "CRP/Repse & Complemento de pago" and E-accounting, within the organization.

You will lead a team of E-Accounting Compliance Specialists and collaborate closely with various internal departments, such as finance, accounting to report, payroll, procurement, and IT, to implement and maintain an efficient and compliant E-Accounting/CFDI system.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of E-Accounting/CFDI Compliance Specialists, providing guidance, support, and performance management to ensure the team's effectiveness and productivity.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to the E-Accounting/CFDI regulations, including the legal and technical requirements mandated by the tax authorities.
  • Process Implementation: Design and implement efficient E-Accounting/CFDI processes within the organization.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Oversee the maintenance of accurate and uptodate records of all E-Accounting/CFDI transactions and associated documentation, including invoices, certifications, and relevant communication.
  • System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor the E-Accounting/CFDI system for any issues or errors and provide guidance and support to the team in promptly resolving them to ensure uninterrupted compliance.
  • Training and Education: Coordinate and conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on E-Accounting/CFDI regulations, processes, and best practices.
  • Regulatory Updates: Stay uptodate with changes in E-Accounting/CFDI regulations and communicate relevant updates to the team and the organization, ensuring ongoing compliance.

External Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with internal teams, such as finance, accounting, and IT, to ensure seamless integration of E-Accounting/CFDI processes. Liaise with external stakeholders, including tax authorities, auditors, and vendors (BPO), as necessary.

Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits or compliance assessments related to the E-Accounting/CFDI process, guiding the team through the process.


  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the E-Accounting/CFDI process, identify areas for improvement, and lead the implementation of necessary changes to optimize compliance.
