About the Unit:

Latin America presents important growth opportunities within the agricultural sector.

Yara has set ambitious goals to become the leading crop nutrition company in Latin America, considering that the fertilizer market in the region is approx.

18 million tons and in the Andean Region it is approximately 3.5 million tons.

At this moment, we have a vacancy in the Cartagena plant, for the position of HESQ Specialist.

Responsibilities:

Support and develop HESQ Projects in collaboration with Latin America or local teams.
Develop integrative HESQ projects, from which control measures are established to guarantee safe work environments and installation.
Execute projects within the established scope optimizing available resources.
Document the management of the change that is developed, taking into account the operating conditions of the processes (training, equipment maintenance, inspection routes, among others).
Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines in HESQ in all phases of projects.
Establish permanent communication mechanisms between stakeholders to capture specific needs and develop the best possible alternative to solutions conditions of safe environments and facilities.
Lead the development of a culture oriented to safety work.
Ensure implementation and compliance with (legal) requirements as chemicals, ISO standards 9001/14001/45001, internal standards and environmental permits.
Translate and implement Yara

- and site-specific policies and procedures in the Yara Management System;

Assist in the identification of HESQ training needs, develop HESQ related trainings and execute trainings.

Profile:

Experience: 3 years in Occupational Health and Safety area, Ideally in project development
Professional in Industrial Engineering or another relevant field, with a master's degree or specialization in occupational health and safety.
Competences in ISO management systems
OHSAS
Skills in the use of excel
English High Intermediate Level
Policies, procedures and tools of HESQ
